Remaining Active
Our body is an amazingobject. The more you ask of it, themore it can do. Ifyou are inactive most of the time, your body will quickly become tired when itshould be active. But if you are very active, your body will get used to thehard work, and the work will become easier for you to do.
Physical activity can helppeople remain active and stay healthy. It helps the body fight offillness. It also helps people sleep better. This is whyactive students don’t complain about being tired. They have a good night’ssleep and have the energy to study hard and have fun every day.
Physical activity alsomakes people look and feel good. Activity burns more calories (卡路里) than just sitting. It is very important tokeep a healthy weight. In addition, regular exercise can make yourmuscles and bones stronger.
There are many factors tolook at when you select a new physical activity. The most important is tochoose something you enjoy. If you like jumping rope, that is the activity youshould do. But you don’t have to dothe same thing every day. In fact, two days of basketball, three days ofswimming, and two days of bicycling can be more fun than jogging every day.
Different activities needdifferent skills. Some skills will improve with practice whileothers may always be difficult for you. If you enjoy an activity, feel free todo it. No one cares whether you can do it well or not, and you don’t need tocare about it either.
Whatever activity youchoose, remain active. It can make you physically fit and healthy for life.

保持活跃

我们的身体是一个奇妙的对象。你对它要求越多,它就能做得越多。如果你大部分时间都不活跃,当你需要活动时,你的身体很快就会感到疲倦。但如果你非常活跃,你的身体就会习惯于艰苦的工作,这项工作对你来说就会变得更容易。

体育活动可以帮助人们保持活跃和健康。它有助于身体抵抗疾病。它还帮助人们睡得更好。这就是为什么活跃的学生不会抱怨疲倦。他们晚上睡得好,有精力每天努力学习和玩乐。

选择新的体育活动时需要考虑很多因素。最重要的是选择你喜欢的东西。如果你喜欢跳绳,那就是你应该做的运动。但你不必每天都做同样的事情。事实上,两天打篮球、三天游泳和两天骑自行车可能比每天慢跑更有趣。

不同的活动需要不同的技能。有些技能会随着练习而提高,而有些技能可能永远对你来说都很困难。如果你喜欢一项活动,尽情去做吧。没有人关心你做得好不好,你也不需要在意。

无论你选择什么活动,保持活跃。它可以让你一生都身体健康、体格强健。
